I saw them perform live in New York City a few years ago, and they're really fantastic on stage. I recommend their live album, Mesdames et Messieurs!, as a starter to see if you like the music, with La Part du Feu and Trompers le Temps as good next purchases. The latter of those two has several interesting political songs, including an angry 'letter' about the Durham Report and a rather chilling fable about a farmer who tries to cheat the Devil out of a bargain...and ends up having his land poisoned by fracking. Good storytelling.
